[H390-MVS] IPDS vs. PPD/PPR Manual?

In one of my open source project I want to implement a virtual IPDS-Printer. I noticed that IPDS is encloded by a protocol named PPD/PPR - does anyone of you have some information / manuals for this protocol?

Hello Michael,
There is a data streams manual number S544-3417-06 "Intelligent Data Streams Reference" which details the elements that go into making up printer output.. It also details the other manuals that explain these elements further. Basically the printed output is made up of "objects" which can be text, images, barcodes etc each of which has its own reference manual. Start with the IPDS Reference first and see how you go.
